New Delhi: Responding to the media reports about pending dues on his official bungalow till February, the office of Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar has stated that nothing is outstanding in the name of Javadekar for the accommodation of 6, Kushak Road.In a letter issued by Directorate of Estates, dated May 20, it has been stated that the Union HRD Minister has cleared all his due till February this year. There is no dues pending till February 2019 and the bill after February 2019 is not issued till date from the Directorate of Estates, the letter read. The Millennium Post on the basis of an RTI reply had reported that several union ministers, including Vijay Goel, Prakash Javadekar, Nirmala Sitaraman and Sushma Swaraj, have not cleared dues on their official bungalows till February. In an official statement, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has also stated that all the earlier dues have been cleared by the respective ministers. The demands for dues are raised on a quarterly basis and due are settled regularly, the ministry said.
