(Reuters Photo)Kidambi Srikanth is known to be a slow starter and sometimes, he takes it a bit too seriously. Srikanth had to fight from a game down against Sugiarto to win 10-21, 21-9, 21-9 and enter the quarters.Sugiarto took early control of the match as Srikanth took time to settle into the court and the environment. By the time, Srikanth began to find his strokes, Sugiarto was high on momentum and had no trouble whatsoever in taking the first game 21-10.However, it was from the second game onwards that the Chinese crowd saw the dominant Srikanth that had won the China Open in 2015.The final two games of the match were all about Srikanth as Sugiarto struggled to keep pace with the Indian and match the aggressiveness that Srikanth brought along.Sugiarto had won 21 points in the first game but in the next two games combined, he could bring up just 18 points as Srikanth thrashed the Indonesian in 45 minutes.
