The second New York engagement of the musical lampoon will end its run at the Westside Theatre Upstairs on June 14; at time of closing the show will have played 30 previews and 139 regular performances.Featuring a book, music and lyrics by Dennis T. Giacino and directed by Fiely A. Matias, the tuner features your typical “princess posse” in a show that’s anything-but-typical. Snow White, Cinderella, Belle and more toss off the tiaras and get real in a not-for-kids musical where fairy tales will never be the same. Disenchanted premiered at Orlando’s International Fringe Festival in 2011 and has been licensed nationwide since.
