Omand’s score of 90 earned her MOP in that event.The team went on to win 3-2 in Western with great rides from freshman Adrianna Adams, and sophomores Elena Hurd and Carly Lombard. Adams scored a 71.5 on Stewie, beating SMU’s Keagan Snively’s re-ride score of 65.5.The Horned Frogs tied the Mustangs in Western with a score of 5-5. In Horsemanship, TCU was strong but the scores were just too tight. Two of the rides were decided by half a point.“Today was tough,” director of equestrian Haley Schoolfield said. “But I think these days make us hungrier.”TCU’s next meet will be Friday, Oct. 6, against Delaware State and UT-Martin in Dover, Delaware.
